Tracking Kiln Firing Costs Using the Genesis Controller

To Set Up Cost of Firing with Your Genesis:

• From the Home Screen, press the Menu button
• Scroll down to Configuration and select it
• Scroll down to Cost Setup and select it
• Now, click on Cost/KWH
• On the next screen, enter the cost per kilowatt-hour for your area to the tenth of a penny and press Save
• Next, enter the wattage for the kiln:
  • Single Zone Kiln - Enter the kiln's wattage in Zone 2 Watts. Enter 0 for Zone 1 Watts and Zone 3 Watts
  • Two Zone Kiln - Enter the kiln's wattage in Zone 1 Watts and Zone 2 Watts. Enter 0 for Zone 3 Watts
  • Three Zone Kiln - Enter corresponding wattage for each zone (1, 2, and 3)
• When finished, press Back, then Home to return to the Home Screen
